It is increasingly recognized by the global financial community that nature-related financial risks can have significant macroeconomic implications, and that failure to account for, mitigate, and adapt to these implications is a source of risks relevant for financial stability.
Co-hosted by ICBC and Swiss Re, co-chairs of GIP Working Group on Environmental and Climate Risks Assessment (WG1), and with the support of PwC, this event, titled "Navigating Nature-related Risks", will present the main findings of the recently conducted WG1 survey that identifies the challenges GIP members face and their expectations for the future in biodiversity conservation. Also, experts from the financial sector will share their insights and experiences on nature-related risks and present viable solutions for managing such risks and providing financing appropriately.
We will provide simultaneous interpretation in both Chinese and English. The seminar agenda is attached below.
