GIP was founded by China Green Finance Committee and the City of London in partnership with multiple international entities. IFS and the City of London Corporation serve as GIP’s Secretariat. Currently GIP boosts 49 signatory organizations, 23 support organizations and 3 observer organizations. The total assets owned and managed by GIP members is over 42 trillion US dollars.
