On July 23rd, the “International Conference on Blue Finance Innovation and Development”, co-hosted by IFS and Yantai Municipal Government, was successfully held. The conference focused on deepening the blue-green integration of financial innovation and practice, helping green low-carbon high-quality development, with more than 200 guests from financial management departments, international organizations, commercial banks, industry associations and other institutions attending the conference.

The conference was divided into an opening ceremony in the morning and a roundtable forum in the afternoon. The opening ceremony included high-level speeches, keynote speeches and results release. During the conference, relevant leaders of Yantai Municipal Government, participating experts and scholars shared the latest development trends and practices of blue finance and ocean economy in China and the world, and showcased Yantai's explorations and achievements in blue finance practices, which provided useful reference for promoting the development of blue finance in the region and even the whole country. In the roundtable forum, the participating guests exchanged views on a number of important topics of blue finance and blue economy development, shared the latest views, research and practice results, and jointly contributed to the sustainable development of global blue finance.
