The Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI) and the Central Bank of Hungary will co-host the " Climate Risk Stress Testing: Identification, Reporting and Management" seminar, which will be held online on 4 November 2024, from 15:00 to 17:00 (Beijing time), 09:00-11:00 (Hungary Time). This seminar will bring together leading experts from central banks, financial institutions, academic institutions, and industry leaders to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of climate-related risk management in the financial sector.
As stress testing and scenario analysis have long been employed to identify and manage risks, this panel will specifically focus on their application to climate risks. Participants will share insights on the identification, reporting, and management of climate risks, with an emphasis on the critical role central banks and regulators play in shaping stress testing practices. Additionally, this panel will highlight the latest developments in sustainability disclosure requirements and discuss their far-reaching implications for financial institutions and other key stakeholders.
