Released in: 2025.10
Over the past few years, IFS has collaborated with the Greenovation : Hub on cooperative research, focusing on natural risk management in the production segment of sustainable agricultural value chains and the innovation of sustainable finance support models. To date, a summary has been published that maps nature-related risks in Brazil’s agricultural value chains, shares the existing practices and challenges of international and Chinese financial institutions in natural risk management, and analyzes innovative financing models successfully adopted by these institutions globally. Through specific cases, the summary demonstrates how mechanisms such as blended finance, risk-sharing, mutual recognition of standards, and multilateral guarantees can effectively address financing dilemmas, providing actionable cases for more Chinese financial institutions and investors.
