At COP17 to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Yerevan, the Asian Development Bank's Nature Solutions Finance Hub hosted a side event on nature in financial regulation. Bai Yunwen, Vice President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS), presented preliminary findings from an ADB-commissioned study of 27 jurisdictions plus the euro area, identifying six policy entry points, from disclosure to prudential risk assessment, while stressing that applying them in supervision and financing decisions is harder. ADB launched a regional capacity-building platform for central banks and supervisors.
